Aligned with National Geographic's #EXPLORERMINDSET, it is backed by the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development and supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
MAPPING GREENLAND ICESHEET
GIS Project with iHARP, Earthrise, and the National Science Foundation
Project engages participants in ongoing GIS research for mapping lakes, moulins, and water-filled cracks across Greenland's ice slab using satellite imagery.
GLOBAL WETLANDS & ESTUARIES
RESEARCH WITH GEM PROGRAM & CITY UNIVERSITY, HONGKONG
Aiming to to enhance environmental understanding and support effective conservation strategies on a global scale, the project pertains to research to understand existing ecosystems and then creating standardized methodologies for comprehensive data collection and restoration of estuaries and wetlands globally.
